Service Catalog &
Service Contract Management

All of your service-related information… in one place

Managed Objects Service Catalog™ and Managed Objects Service Contract Management™ (SCM) products form an integral part of our Service Level Management solution. They bring centralized repositories for SLA information and significantly enhance the efficiency of the SLM process through workflow automation.

Managed Objects’ Service Catalog provides a centralized description for each service and supports each service through the review, approval and provisioning workflow. It tracks actions taken on each service. So Operations, Project Managers, CIOs, and Customers can, where appropriate, approve, disapprove, subscribe and unsubscribe to a service. The tracking information maintained in the Service Catalog serves as an audit trail that allows governance of service.

Managed Objects SCM automates and eases the entire SLA lifecycle process – from service contract composition, management, and maintenance, to OLA creation, monitoring, and reporting. SCM increases the effectiveness and productivity of your service level management team by giving them a powerful tool that not only automates key service definition and SLA/SLO activities It also gives back valuable time to handle the growing workloads of service level management without increasing existing resources.

Together, Managed Objects Service Catalog and SCM work to provide the following key features and capabilities:

  • Accelerates entire service contract/catalog composition and creation process with easy to use, pre-defined templates and integrated service wizard.
  • Built-in approval workflow enforces governance and ensures accuracy of service contract/catalog and SLO management.
  • Automates SLA/OLA creation and real-time management by integrating with Managed Objects Business Service Level Management™ (BSLM) and real-time SLA /OLA monitoring and reporting
  • Built on new myMO visualization framework, Service Catalog and SCM are an important part of a complete Service Level Management (SLM) solution that provides a single Web 2.0 compliant interface to manage the entire SLA service contract lifecycle end-to-end.

Both Managed Objects Service Catalog and SCM use pre-defined templates combined with built-in wizards to ease and accelerate the service contract/catalog creation process. With these solutions, any member from the Service Level Management team can quickly compose or add a service contract and introduce it into the approval process. Within SCM, each contract is separately versioned and captures important SLA metrics defined between IT and end-users.

In addition, SCM’s integrated approval workflow ensures service contracts are accurate and complete before being introduced to the enterprise.

And because SCM is fully integrated into our Service Catalog, it’s easy to track and maintain service contract information
